Reflecting on the Memories of Prince
The beautiful thing about music is that it can take you back to a place and time that will bring back so many memories.
When I reflect back on my teenage years there are certain songs that you hear now that will take you back to a certain place and time.
Sometimes those memories will bring you joy and other times it will bring you pain but through it all it is a part of you and music can always take you back to the monumental time in your life.
Remember during the 90`s when the talk was when the new millennium commenced the world would end and Prince made the song you have to party like it`s 1999.
What about during the 80`s when MTV was the greatest thing to come along since sliced bread and we had the old cable boxes and Prince was talking about his Little Red Corvette.
Those are the time stamps that music and artist like Prince have put on our lives and will always remain.
So although we maybe sad for the loss that will make Doves Cry.
I will cherish the memories and keep them with me always.
He will always be linked to Morris Day and the time another group out of the Minneapolis, Minnesota area that was brought to prominence by Prince when he released his debut movie Purple Rain.
I have many fond memories of the music and movies that he played a role in, although I could never say I was a true fan of Prince I have a great respect for his work and his tremendous accomplishments.
He was a great business person in the music industry as he made it mandatory that he owned the master copies to his music and instructed up and coming artists to do the same.
